Service and Leadership

The College has played a vital role in the health care community for over 150 years.

Making a Difference in Our Community

Each year, students, faculty, staff and alumni volunteer thousands of hours in activities that improve the community. As a student, you will have the opportunity to give back, serve and become a leader in your community.

  • Through STLCOP C.A.R.E.S. (Community Awareness Reaching Everyone in St. Louis), an annual service day, students perform volunteer activities across St. Louis.
  • Through the St. Louis Regional Asthma Consortium, students support St. Louis-area children with asthma by staffing a mobile clinic.
  • At the Saint Louis Science Center, students help kids learn about pharmacy and health care.
  • Each October, the College partners with JDRF to host Boo Fest, a free on-campus carnival for children with diabetes that provides Halloween fun without the candy.

Service and Leadership Around the World

At St. Louis College of Pharmacy, we take a broader view of the world. We work to make sure our students are prepared academically, professionally and personally to serve diverse patient populations.

We focus on cultural awareness and the importance of interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. It makes our students better health care providers — and truly educated people.

Students have completed thousands of hours of service and traveled more than 205,000 miles to provide patient care abroad.
