Since 2013, more than 200 students have participated in student learning opportunities abroad. Students may choose to participate in the following learning opportunities:
International Service Learning (ISL)
ISL is a three-credit hour elective course that researches the culture,
International Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) Rotations
During the final year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program, students are required to participate in eight, five-week APPE rotations. Students may choose to participate in an international elective. Generally, students participating in international APPE rotations travel in pairs and spend four weeks at an international site and the additional week working at the College to prepare for the experience or to complete post-travel assignments.
