Investing in a Bright FutureA degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy is an investment in your future. According to the federal government, pharmacists will continue to be in great demand as Americans age, and more jobs are expected to be created as the health care system requires pharmacists who provide drug therapy as members of the health care team. As you make this important investment, we will work with you to find financial aid options. Almost all STLCOP students receive at least one form of financial aid.
- Each student meets with a financial aid advisor prior to beginning coursework at the College. These meetings include basic financial aid information, individualized recommendations, and future considerations to assist in financial management and goal-setting during your studies and beyond.
- For more information, contact the Office of Financial Aid at 314.367.8700 ext. 8328 or toll-free at 800.2.STLCOP.
Scholarships, Grants & More
Because STLCOP is selective in choosing the brightest students for our Pharm.D. program, scholarships are a popular and common form of financial aid. The generosity of our donors enables STLCOP to award 15 percent of the student body either an annual or endowed scholarship.
Federal grant funding is awarded to students who exhibit financial need. Grants do not have to be repaid. Many students also fund their education in part through student loans, which are generally repaid following graduation.
Work-study programs are another option for students who need financial assistance. These programs can also be very beneficial in terms of experience gained, and they provide funds that do not need to be repaid. We can help students find appropriate and interesting work-study options that will provide financial aid in addition to real-life work experience.
