Congratulations on choosing a degree and career in pharmacy. Space in the first-year class is limited and acceptance is highly competitive. Each year the College receives around 600 applications for 250 places in the first-year class. To determine your chance for success at STLCOP, the Admissions Office carefully considers several factors. Admission requirements for prospective students include:
- 3 years of high school science, including biology/lab and chemistry/lab
- 4 years of high school math, including algebra I & II and geometry
- 4 years of high school English
- High school GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Rank in the upper 50% of the graduating class
- Minimum ACT composite score of 23 and/or SAT combined score of 1110 (minimum ACT math sub score of 24; minimum sub score of 21 for English, science and reading)
- Recommended but not required: 1 unit of physics, additional units in subjects listed above or other math and science courses.

First-year Applicant Checklist
- Complete the STLCOP application online and submit your nonrefundable $55 application fee. We strongly recommend that you complete and submit this form as soon as possible. If you prefer to submit your application via U.S. Mail, please send the application form and your nonrefundable $55 application fee to the Office of Admission, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, 4588 Parkview Place, St. Louis, MO 63110-1088
- Complete the Statement of Commitment
- Complete Early Decision Agreement Form (Only for students applying under this plan)
- Request official high school transcript here. That includes your ACT/SAT score, cumulative GPA and senior-year class rank.
- Submit a Science Reference Form to your science teacher for completion
- Submit a Academic Reference Form to your guidance counselor for completion
- Complete the Technical Standards Form
- Submit an Essay
Note: An official transcript should bear the high school registrar's seal and be mailed directly from the high school to the College. Transcripts mailed by the student or hand-delivered by the student are not accepted as official documents. Sixth- or seventh-semester transcripts will be accepted for admission consideration. Final- or eighth-semester transcripts must be forwarded to the College immediately following graduation.
