Published on 24 April 2017

The College recognized students at the annual Student Leadership Celebration on Wednesday, April 12. Student leaders were honored for their involvement in student organizations and dedication to serving the community locally, nationally and internationally.

President John A. Pieper, Pharm.D., FCCP, FAPhA, and Karen Seibert, Ph.D., co-director of the Center for Clinical Pharmacology and professor of pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences, delivered remarks and acknowledged student leaders’ commitment to the College and community. Paul Luebbers, president of the Student Government Association, provided a student perspective on leadership.

“Learning to put others before yourself is what student leadership is all about,” Luebbers said. “Every student organization on campus accomplishes this in some way, shape or form.”
