St. Louis College of Pharmacy strives to maintain an outstanding, competitive benefits package that assists in recruiting and retaining the best faculty and staff.
 
Full-time staff and faculty are eligible participate in the College’s Benefits Plan, which includes a rich health and prescription plan, dental plan. The health plan features no deductible, $20 office visit co-pays, and a 90 percent co-insurance with a large national network of providers. Employees pay only 15% of the cost to cover themselves and 35% of the cost to cover their dependents. The College also offers a dental plan, voluntary vision insurance, and a medical or dependent care flex account with debit card.  Retirement consists of two 403(b) Retirement Plans with a maximum college match of 8% with employee contribution. 

Benefits provided exclusively at the College’s expense include employee life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance equal to the employee's annual salary, travel accident insurance, long-term disability insurance, and employee assistance plan.  

Other benefits and perks include free use of the athletic facility and library, cafeteria discount, free parking on campus, and tax-free payroll deduction for public transportation monthly passes. Tuition reimbursement is available for employee professional development and complimentary St. Louis College of Pharmacy tuition is available for dependent after five years of service. Employees can bank enough sick time to cover many instances of illness or short-term disability. The College also offers a generous holiday schedule, three floating personal holidays, and vacation time (12 month faculty get 22 days per year, 12 month staff start at 10 days per year).
