Current Research

Current research focused on the study of the expression of estrogen and androgen receptors in the hypothalamus and the hippocampus and its relation to memory. Whether the expression of estrogen-alpha and beta receptors as well as the androgen receptors are mediated by testosterone independently of estrogen or by its conversion to estrogen is studied both in the neonate and adult rats.

Also engaged in educational research related to team-based learning as well as the impact of lecture capture on student performance.
