Biography

GARY G. TORRENCE,  B.S.B.A., CPA

Gary G. Torrence is Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. He joined the College in 1998. He has overall responsibility for the College's financial operations and directly manages the departments of business office, endowment administration, auxiliary services and physical plant operations. In his eleven years at the College, Mr. Torrence has implemented a new treasury management, and accounts receivable collection program, and oversaw the 41 million dollar campus renovation project.

Before coming to the College, Mr. Torrence has served as chief financial officer of a privately held rehabilitation therapy company, several financial management positions for the Sisters of Mercy Health System, St. Louis, including corporate controller and chief financial officer at Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City and public accounting with Laventhol and Horwath, CPA's, Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Torrence holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Missouri, St. Louis and a CPA.
