Writing Center

The Norton Writing Center is a free tutoring service offered to all STLCOP students, faculty and staff. The center offers one-on-one assistance, from trained students, with all types of writing during all stages; it is neither editing nor proofreading, but tutoring. The center also has handouts for students on grammar, punctuation and usage.

The center also holds workshops on resumes and cover letters, essay-test writing, and other writing topics.

The center is open Monday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and Tuesday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. There also is a satellite center in the Residence Hall on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8 - 10 p.m.

The writing center is located on the 2nd floor of the O.J. Cloughly Alumni Library. For more information e-mail Susan Mueller, writing center coordinator, or call 314.446.8453.
