Third-year No. 5 singles player LeAnn Tran earned KIAC Player of the Week honors on Oct. 21 for her victories over Asbury University and Carlow, going 3-0 for the week of Oct. 14. She finished the regular season 9-2 in singles play and 4-0 in doubles.
At the conference tournament in Midway, Ky., the Eutectics were scheduled to play No. 2 ranked Brescia University in the first round. Tran and fellow third-year Carmen Stach were named to the All-Conference Second Team after the tournament by a coaches vote.
