Department of Liberal Arts and Administrative Sciences

To complement their studies in biological and physical sciences, first- and second-year students take courses in Liberal Arts & Administrative Sciences. Classes range from world literature and film studies to anthropology and politics. By integrating the arts and sciences into their coursework, students develop an appreciation for self, life, and culture, as well as empathy and compassion for the needs of others.
