Walk-In (Group) Help Sessions
Group tutoring sessions, of no extra charge to St. Louis College of Pharmacy students, are offered by peers on a regular basis for most subjects, typically in the first three years of the curriculum. They usually happen at the same time and location each week, and it can be a good opportunity to work as a group and hear the questions of others. View the Tutoring List below for times and locations.
Private tutoring sessions are available primarily to students who are in the first through third years, but there is often tutoring available in some later courses. Like walk-in, private tutoring is of no extra fee to students. Please see the tutoring list below and contact the tutor directly. To speed up commuication, please include the blocks of times that you are free to meet, as well as how many meetings you want to set up.
Expectations of Students Being Tutored
Tutoring is most beneficial when you spend time preparing for your session. Review your notes, text, and other class materials provided by your professor, and come prepared with a list of topics with which you are struggling.
Please be considerate of your tutor's time by showing up on time for your session. If you are unable to make it, please notify the tutor as soon as possible.
If you have questions about tutoring or are having difficulty finding a tutor, please contact Rebecca Jones.
