Marc Long has overall responsibility for the College’s marketing and communications efforts, including community affairs, governmental affairs, internal communications, Web communications, media relations and publications. Prior to assuming his role in 2007, Mr. Long served as director of University Affairs at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Mr. Long serves on the boards of SSM Rehab Foundation, the St. Louis Civic Entrepreneurs Organization, and the public relations council of the Donald Danforth Plant Sciences Center. In addition, he is active in the leadership circle of the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association (RCGA), Greater St. Louis Inc., and FOCUS St. Louis. Mr. Long holds undergraduate degrees in history and political science, and a master’s degree in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Missouri.
